SAVOR...Fort Lauderdale is an industry leader in introducing green standards and programs to public meeting facilities. As the food and beverage provider at the Broward County Convention Center we have worked closely with the community to develop environmentally friendly options. 

In preparing our menu initiatives were taken towards minimizing our carbon footprint.  We pride ourselves in purchasing locally produced, sustainably raised products and sourcing sustainable seafood whenever possible while providing the freshest ingredients

The Broward County Convention Center is an industry leader introducing green standards making us a Gold Certified Existing Leed Facility. 

Farm-to-Table Freshness

SAVOR integrates farm-to-table initiatives into all of our operations. We purchase our fruits and vegetables through Farm Fresh Produce, a company that sources local farms. This not only assures our customers of the freshest and most naturally flavorful ingredients, it allows us to help the local economy by supporting regional growers.

Compostable & Recyclable Products

Whenever possible, we avoid plastics and Styrofoam products made with petroleum-based chemicals and additives that contribute to pollution, toxicity and land fills

Environmentally Responsive Suppliers

We believe that acting responsibly must begin at the source, which is why we actively seek out suppliers and vendors who make green initiatives a part of their everyday operations

Sustainable Seafood

Our menu includes sustainable seafood choices to make it easy for meeting planners to select this option. Stewardship of the ocean and the natural environment is an important consideration in everything we do.
